My electrican has writen 2 Core Flex on a plan, what type of electrical wire is this?
Is this just a standard grey flex which contains blue and brown wires inside?
As Jkaytee has posted. + a flexible cable (flex) would be used to to supply an appliance or equipment from a plug or switch spur, (a vacuum cleaner or table lamp for example) or as a final connection to fixed equipment / appliances. 2 core flex would be used for something that does not require to be earthed.
If still in doubt ask your electrician to explain.
