Okay. I read this book and I obsolutely luuurrrrvvvveeed it.
Does no one else think that they've totally killed this movie by casting Michael Cera as the lead? No offense because I think he's a total sweetheart and dead funny, but as Nick? He can only play vervous guys and they've made him like that in this movie. NIck's meant to have funny hair and he's meant to be wearing the freaking leather jacket!!! Where is the jacket?!?!?! it's like such a huge part of the story and he's not even wearing it. Also, why isn't Norah wearing a flannel shirt? Caroline looks like she's about 30. Which doesn't really work either. These are the thingss that confuse me although I will definately be watching the movie and I will definately love it.
I just wanted to vent my feelings because I cannot keep it inside =)
I think it's possible that he can pull it off..maybe. The only problem I have with him is that in the book Nick is supposed to be really hot, or at least Norah seems to think so. Michael Cera doesn't really seem to fit that. But hey, I'm sure his acting will make up for this.
