What are Pros and Cons about saving the forests? Think of it as if you were an environmentalist fighting to save the forests, but then there are some negative side effects too about keeping the forests.
Examples:
Pros: Lots of animals depend on forestry for food and a good safe habitat.
Cons: Lots of people who work for Lumber Companies would lose their jobs.
I am thinking more about North American forests than Rain forests.

Can't think of any good negatives, except that for some particular area, since oxygen is "free" and not seen as an economic benefit, parking lots make more money than standing trees.
Contrary to popular belief, loggers do still want to work in 10 years time and leave some for their kids, and fortunately since forests regrow, they can have their cake and eat it too.
