Second Amendment, where do we draw the line?
If the Second Amendment is there at least in part to protect us from our own goverment, which I believe, doesn't that mean that civilians should be at least as well-armed as the military? But then, who wants to live next door to an extremist who has stockpiled high-explosives, rocket launchers and a daisy-cutter or two. Where do we draw the line?

The Constitution gives us the right to bear arms. That is absolute but not unlimited. The Constitution also says that the Congress has the power to make laws which protect the people. The Bill of Rights has to be interpreted, by disinterested parties such as the Supreme Court, to insure that its provisions are workable and reasonable.
As Justice Brandeis said" Your right of free speech does not give you the right to shout fire in a crowded theater."
Another said, "Your Freedom to swing your arms stops at the tip of my nose."
All Laws must be tempered with reason and applied as a reasonable man would interpret them.
The right to possess tank, machine gun, rocket launcher, etc.,
do not fall under the aegis of the Reasonable Man doctrine.
When any such weapon could and would do more harm than good it is unneeded and unlawful
