Is my recurring dream a meaningless mishmash or could it have meaning?
I have dreamed twice of seeing Scooby Doo chained to a log heading for the spinning blade....and I just watch it happening and don't do anything.
As a kid I adored Scooby Doo and I otherwise would only find my dream amusing. Is there a possible meaning?
...and while I do nothing but watch I feel powerless to help Scooby Doo...
The answer lies in you. How do you feel now when you see the dog is going to be killed? Does it cause fear, confusion, is it humorous? There is also an issue in that dream about the fact you don't "do anything" to stop it. That could mean something as benign as knowing you are not a little girl any longer and are much more intelligent than when you watched cartoons. If you have the dream again, it may be serious and may mean you are hardening your heart. You are the dreamer and you have the answer inside of you. Pay attention to any dream that keeps reoccurring though until you figure out what it means to you.
