Which size of wood chipping machine do professionals use?
have heard that Home Depot rents out a 6 inch intake wood chipper...but was wondering what size of intake the professionals use..and if have a size of brush and smalle trees and limbs that piled together is about 40 feet long,,,3-4 ft high and 10 feet wide...how long it would take and can one person do this with a chain saw,,,and a wood chipper? how long probably and any tips appreciated..
how likely will get stopped up once or twice and how to prevent this from happening?

The tree companies use huge chippers that are powered by automotive-style engines and have intakes large enough to crawl into. As long as there's nothing huge in the pile you should be able to do it by yourself but expect to spend at least one whole afternoon or maybe a full day, depending on how dull the machine is.
