arborist equiptment question- we have a 40 ft or so oak my husband wants to take out himself should i let him?
he used to work for the parks service and knows how - did it for years says he needs 500 or so in equipt the rest his cousin has is this too much would it be cheaper to have an insured professional do it it is in front yard no power lines far enough from house, icestorms here in iowa broke all the lower branches for several layers up and it s now diseased from the open wounds
I live in Florida, just had a large tree about 40 or so ft tall removed. It was near the house cost $250 and they ground out the roots and stump. Chipped up the Logs and limbs and took it all away. Filled in the hole. It took 3 guys about 2 hours.
To keep the cost down you husband may be able to rent the equipment.
